Cat's passions for historic preservation and design led her to receive a dual master's degree in architecture and historic preservation from the University of Colorado Denver. She has several years of experience working on existing buildings, developing Historic Structure Assessments and providing documentation research. She believes that with recognition of new technologies and sustainable building practices, our built environment can be resilient, efficient and maintain the integrity of the historic context. Cat grew up in Minnesota as an avid alpine ski racer, which brought her to the mountains of Colorado. Any chance she gets she loves to ski, hike, explore with photography, or enjoy time with her adventurous dog, Loki.
