Why do architects only hang out with each other?
A firm believer of creative innovation thriving on working across disciplines and cultures, this question led Chris to journey outside of Syracuse University where he was pursuing his Bachelor of Architecture and off to study in places such as Ghana, Morocco, Turkey, and Norway, among others. His international travel developed his design interest in access and mobility, pursuing ventures back home in accessible design-build and vacant storefront repurposing as well as a thesis on information space in the digital age.
This question also led Chris to studies in related fields such as public policy and real estate development, including an internship on rebuilding World Trade Center.
That same question finally led Chris to HDR, where he gets to hang out not only with architects, but also with designers, engineers, planners, marketers, and other great thinkers on a daily basis.
