Corey is a native Midwesterner who recently returned to his roots with his wife, son and daughter after living in Los Angeles for 11 years.
After completing his master’s degree at the University of Southern California, he spent many years designing affordable housing projects, which nurtured his need to be a direct positive influence on people experiencing difficulty in their lives. Corey is continuing his work to address affordable housing and homelessness issues through volunteering as AIA Minnesota’s Housing Advocacy Committee Co-Chair. Transitioning into healthcare design at HDR has allowed his work to continue to be a reflection of his core values because it helps people during times when they are often at their most vulnerable.
In between work and spending time with his family, Corey is an avid cyclist and almost certainly can be found somewhere exploring the world via pedal power.
