Jim joined HDR back in 2005 and now leads the design efforts for many of HDR’s national and international pursuits. He is one of only a few University of Arkansas Alumni within the firm and still holds close the unique perspective on regional design and place-making he was taught at the Fay Jones School of Architecture.
Alongside his office responsibilities, Jim is currently the Chair for the AIA Dallas Design Awards program and has been an active member of the committee since 2006. His work has been published in Architectural Record, Texas Architect, Healthcare Design, Medical Design and Construction, and several other publications. He was also recognized in 2011 by ENR as one of the top 20 under 40 young leaders in the region.
Beyond design, Jim has a passion for his faith, family and friends. He is committed to team building and leadership and always looks for ways to have fun, be inspired and inspire those around him.
