June began her professional life as a high school teacher, and has found that working with fifteen-year-olds was pretty good practice for working with adults in general! Leading clients and teams to articulate ideas, evaluate pros and cons and reach consensus is a hallmark of June’s skill as a planner and programmer. She is fascinated with the mental processes behind our work, and teaches workshops and seminars in creativity.
Outside of work, June plays the bagpipes in a top competitive pipe band and judges solo and band contests throughout North America. June lives with her husband Gary, a retired Yonkers policeman, in a very old Pennsylvania stone farmhouse, with two daughters in college, one Labrador retriever and two cats inside, two foxes, a couple of groundhogs, several rabbits and deer outside, and a horse away at boarding school.
