Kaylyn is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Masters of Architecture program. Prior to her three year stint in Minneapolis, she lived in Lafayette, Louisiana where she received her B.S. in Architecture. Kaylyn is no stranger to moving; she was born in New Orleans, but her family soon relocated to Alberta, Canada where she spent her childhood, before returning to the south. She grew up taking long road trips to visit family in Colorado, always taking detours along the way to see the sights. From this she gained a desire to seek out new places, people, and experiences to see what she can learn from them. This has also impacted her approach to design, which has been influenced by site context, vernacular, culture, and the environment.
