With over 15 years in the sustainability field, Marcella brings passion and innovation to the Resources business group. Most recently, she spent more than seven years leading sustainability at a Fortune 500 food company, developing strategies and implementing programs to improve performance from farm-to-fork. Under her leadership, the company earned a place on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for five consecutive years as well as other industry accolades. Marcella's managed complex sustainability data inventories—including greenhouse gas, water, and waste metrics—to track progress against a holistic sustainability vision. She is a skilled communicator, with an eye for interpreting complex datasets and bringing sustainability to life in writing, training materials, videos, and other media. Earlier in her career, she spent eight years consulting for a variety of federal, municipal, and private clients on sustainability, pollution prevention, and environmental management programs. Projects touched a wide array of industries, ranging from healthcare and hospitality to metal finishing and garment manufacturing.
