Managing Principal | Seatlle, WA, USA

Phil has nearly three decades of experience on both healthcare and academic projects. He describes the Seattle office as an entrepreneurial location backed by the deep bench of HDR.

Despite his love of his home state of Missouri, Phil considers Seattle the ideal location for his family to raise their 9-year-old daughter, who is in a Japanese language immersion elementary school. Recently, he combined his love of architecture and Star Trek by negotiating with the National Trust for Historic Preservation to allow a fan film to shoot for four days at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Pope-Leighey house in Mount Vernon, Virginia—the setting for the boyhood home of a 23rd century starship captain.
