Wes has spent more than 20 years in the civil engineering field. His experience runs the gamut from bridges crossing high above rivers, to urban and rural roadway drainage systems, to inspection of levees and retaining walls—an expertise that was tested just days after Hurricane Katrina in his home state of Louisiana. His experience in post-Katrina New Orleans engrained in him the responsibility and duty of engineers to protect the public through accurate design. Wes and his wife and three children now call California home, though he’d love to return to Louisiana some day.
